"No wonder he didn’t want to kiss me!"

Dating is a game no one like to play. It’s awkward, quirky, heartbreaking, and most of all, downright embarrassing! See how one woman’s dating disaster caused her to lose the guy of her dreams!

"I went on a first date last week. The guy was really smart, really funny, and really (really) cute, so I was a bit nervous, but knew I could win him over with my fun personality—and the right amount of flirting of course!

We went out to an Italian restaurant and totally clicked! When the night came to an end, he wrapped up the date with the typical ‘can I walk you to your door?’  line and without hesitation, I agreed.

When we finally got up to my front door, we paused for a second, a little shy both knowing what was going to happen next, and I looked up at him, beaming with a huge smile. As soon as I did, he put out his hand for a handshake and left abruptly.

I was heartbroken!

Our mutual feelings were palpable? I was so confused. I sat in my kitchen for a few moments and then just decided to call it a night. I headed for the bathroom to begin my usual before-bed routine (floss, brush teeth, wash face, etc.) and looked in the mirror.

What did I see? A huge piece of cilantro stuck between my two front teeth! No wonder he didn’t want to kiss me—he didn’t want to get stuck with some of my leftovers! I was so embarrassed!

Needless to say, the guy never called. Oh well, next time I’ll bring floss!"
