For three generations King’s Fish House has served seafood, steaks, salads and sweets – something for everyone. The American proverb, “variety is the spice of life” comes to mind as diners explore the extensive menu, faced with tempting decision after tempting decision.

If health is your wish, then eat more fish. As the, “ultimate seafood experience,” King’s boasts more than a dozen types of fresh fish flown in daily, including trout, halibut, catfish, and swordfish – all affordably market-priced. Check the chalkboard upon arrival.

Environmentally responsible and affordable aquacultured (farmed fish) entrees are also available; Hazelnut Crusted Bainbridge Island Salmon ($20), Ecuadorian Tilapia blackened with mango salsa ($18), and Idaho Rainbow Trout Amandine ($17).

Compliment your entrée with two of fourteen “farm raised” sidekicks included with the entrée price: Glazed carrots, sautéed fresh spinach, garden vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, baked potato, coleslaw, sweet buttered corn, steamed jasmine rice, parsley new potatoes, rosemary potatoes, roasted ratatouille, or French fries. Secret menu item: for those that want a little green to balance your plate, broccoli and green beans are available upon request.

Michael’s Meal Deal: Easy Hour in the lounge: three “killer” fish tacos ($5.75), grilled chicken quesadilla ($5.45), or Oysters Po’Boy with fries ($6.25). Fill up on crowd favorite appetizers of crab cakes and oysters with domestic drafts by the pint, well drinks and house wines range from $3.25 to $4.25.
