The OCSD responded to several "suspicious activity" calls. |
Love was in the air this past weekend, but the OCSD didn’t let roses and Cupid’s arrow get in the way of taking care of business, they were still on the beat and protecting your streets safe. Here are a few of the incidents reported to the Sheriff’s Blotter.
February 14
• 0 Block of Silktassel. Officers reported to a call in order to keep the peace. No arrests were made and no further details were available. Reported at 3:13 PM.
February 13
• Intersection of Avenida de los Fundadores and Avenida de las Flores. The OCSD arrested a 19-year-old male musician after responding to a call regarding a suspicious person in a vehicle. He was taken to Central Men’s Jail and, at press time, was in custody with a $20,000 bail. Reported at 8:33 PM.
• 0 Block of Santa Nella. After responding to a call reporting a disturbance, officers arrested a 30-year-old engineer. He was taken to the Intake Release Center, cited and released later the same day. Reported at 4:00 PM.
February 12
• 100 Block of Encanto Canyon. A 22-year-old student was taken into custody after officers responded to a suspicious persons or circumstances call. He was taken to the Intake Release Center and after a bond was posted, he was released. No further details were available at press time. Reported at 2:12 PM.
