Rain or shine, the Orange County Sheriffs Department keeps the streets of your neighborhood safe. And while it may seem sleepy here in South County, there’s plenty going on to keep them busy. Here are a few incidents reported to the OCSD this past week.
February 7
• 0 Block of Calle Ranchera. Officers reported missing or stolen plates off of a vehicle. No other details were available at press time. Reported at 8:28 PM.
• Intersection of Antonio Parkway and Via Honesto. A 26-year-old male construction worker was taken into custody after a routine traffic stop. He was taken to the Intake Release Center and, at press time, was in custody with a bail abount of $1,500. Reported at 7:48 PM.
February 6
• 0 Block of Sendero. A 20-year-old male musician was taken into custody at the Intake Release Center after officers arrested him. The individual had a warrant out for his arrest. He was later released after a bond was posted. Reported at 4:53 PM.
February 5
• 0 Block of Via Carino. A 48-year-old male was taken into custody after officers responded to a disturbance call. He was taken to Central Mens Jail and, at press time, remained there with a bond amount of $500. Reported at 1:53 PM.
