While you and yours are getting ready for Valentine’s Day (it’s just a few weeks away!) the OCSD was making sure your neighborhood was safe. Here are just a few incidents reported to the Sheriff’s Department this week.
January 31
• 0 Block of Los Picos. A 24-year-old male telemarketer was taken into custody after reports of a suspicious person. He was taken into the Intake Release Center and later released. Reported at 8:45 AM.
January 30
• Intersection of Rancho Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida de los Fundadores. A 19-year-old female food service employee was taken into custody after a routine traffic stop. She was taken into the Intake Release Center and at press time, she was still being held with a bail amount of $2,500. Reported at 9:41 PM.
• Intersection of Vista Sierra and Vista la Cuestsa. A 29-year-old male was taken into custody after a routine traffic stop. He was taken to Central Men’s Jail, where at press time, he remained. No bail amount was posted by the OCSD. Reported at 9:15 PM.
• Intersection of Plano Trabuco Road and Trabuco Canyon Road. A 39-year-old male was taken into custody after the OCSD answered a call about a suspicious person in a vehicle. He was taken to the Intake Release Center and later released. Reported at 6:55 PM.
