Start eating, because after 10 Rio meals, the 11th is free! |
Acclaimed Café Rio Mexican Grill opened its first California eatery in the heart of South Orange County prepared to serve authentic Tex Mex Rio Grande-style meals to loyal and new customers. Toting more than 60 Utah food awards, including ZAGAT Survey’s “Excellent,” Best of City Search’s “Best Salad” and City Weekly’s Reader's Choice “Best Burrito” six years in a row. Café Rio is ready to serve up generous portions that are easy on the wallet.
The aroma of fresh tortillas – made from scratch, hand rolled, and cooked while you watch – captivate customers as their eyes feast on the colorful red, green and orange festive décor. The friendly staff buzz around, chopping, slicing and dicing the fresh ingredients to build your custom masterpiece. The house specialty, sweet pork barbacoa burrito with black beans and salsa stuffed in to an oversized tortilla, is truly a work of edible art.
Salads are just as substantial as the burritos, filled with your choice of fire-grilled chicken or steak, chile-roasted beef, or sweet pork, and traditional BRC (beans, rice and cheese). Toppings include crisp romaine lettuce, pico, guacamole and cilantro-lime vinaigrette dressing – all made from fresh produce, daily.
Fresh. Tasty. Healthy.
And if that wasn’t enough, how about a free meal? After ten meals, the 11th meal is on the house. Select from tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, or try the homemade tortilla soup. Leave a little room for Café Rio’s famous flan, tres leches or key lime pie.
Customers can take pride in the fact management gives back to the community, specifically the American Indian Services, Eye Care for Kids, Rising Star Outreach, Make a Wish Foundation, and Boys and Girls Clubs.
