The parade will start on Main and Pacific streets and end on Prospect Avenue near Irvine Boulevard next to the Tustin Tiller Days Carnival. Tiller Days run from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4 will also feature entertainment, crafts booths, non-profit food vendors, children’s rides, a beer garden, sports zone and much more. Admission is free!
Masse has been teaching 20 of her 23 Jazzercise years at the Tustin Area Senior Center and has participated in the Tiller Days parade for 18 consecutive years. “I like to support the community in all its events,” said Masse, “the crowd loves us and we can feel that energy too! They can see that Jazzercise is for everyone – all shapes, ages and fitness levels – and we’re having fun doing it.”
The workout program, which offers a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing movements, has positively affected millions of people worldwide. Benefits include increased cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility, as well as an overall "feel good" factor.
Jazzercise classes are offered through the Tustin Park and Recreation department. Classes are on going Monday through Thursdays at 5:15 pm and 6 pm and Saturdays at 8 am. For more information contact Masse at shawn@jazzwithme.com or call 714.730-3758.
