• Become a Volunteer Tutor For Adults Learning English as a Second Language
Give the gift of “language.” You can make a difference in the lives of others by helping a motivated adult learn to speak English and enhance English reading/writing skills. Come and see first hand how learning English changes lives. Come and be a part of the teaching process!.
Volunteer tutors are needed to work one-to-one or in small groups to provide literacy and English language skill instruction to foreign born adults. Help people from all over the world learn or improve their limited English language skills. Join in the fun and teach at centers throughout South Orange County at a time that is convenient; days or evenings.
Free training is provided to new volunteers by certified instructors.
Skills:
- Must be over 18 years old and proficient in the English language;
- Must have a caring heart and willingness to be flexible with adult learners.

• Casta del Sol Golf Membership Sign-Ups
The Casta del Sol Senior Men’s Golf Club is accepting membership applications from senior men in So. Orange Co. The members play every Wednesday at the Casta del Sol golf course with start times from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Benefits include guaranteed start times, SCGA handicap, handicapped special events and competition, and fellowship.

• AV Service Volunteers is Recruiting New Members
Known for brining together South Orange County men and women ages 40 and older, the AV Service Volunteers unite to support national and local non-profit and charitable. Assistance is offered via events such as silent auctions, beach cleanup, golf tournaments, galas and community events.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at the Aliso Viejo Library at 5:45pm. Prospective members, upon inquiry, will be sent a membership package outlining the rules and requirements in detail along with being given access to the website which contains current and future events.
