The Adventures of Rocco and Max Super Hero Poodles: A Goodbye to Bullies, is going to be the first in a series of children’s books by Candy Babcock.

Babcock’s writing is engrossing as she writes easy-to-read children’s books. Babcock writes with hopes of delivering a meaningful message to children about many real life topics like bullying and childhood obesity.

Each book’s title will start with a different letter of the alphabet starting at A and ending in Z. The main characters of the book, Rocco and Max, are based on Candy’s own two toy poodles that were the inspiration for the books.

A Goodbye to Bullies is not only the first book in the series but also Babcock's introduction to the genre of children’s books. “I have always liked writing and I am somewhat of a child at heart anyways,” says Babcock. “Writing children’s books is something I really enjoy doing.”

The picture included with the article is the cover of the book which Babcock is very proud of since the picture was drawn by her cousin. The book is available through The Rocco and Max website (see link below.) Babcock will also be doing book signings in the near future and the dates and locations will be posted on the website as well.
